We received about a foot of snow here on Ossipee Lake from yesterdays storm. For Thanksgiving we are enjoying a sunny day with a high temperature of 38.9°. Hope everyone has a great day!

Thanksgiving morning on Broad Bay.

I have been hoping to attract Northern Cardinals to my feeders for several years without any luck. Last week I finally saw my first Cardinal in the bushes near the feeders. Last week it was a female that I spotted. Yesterday I spotted the male on one of the feeders with sunflower seed. He came around several times yesterday but I wasn’t able to get a decent photo. When he came back earlier today I was able to get a quick photograph when he landed on top of the feeder. Hopefully they will both continue to return to the feeders throughout the Winter.
